We all want our accessories to have the best life span possible. Let’s be honest though, we don’t always take care of our pretties like we should. Accessories may be broken or damaged if they are dropped, mistreated, stored incorrectly or come in contact with perfumes, cosmetics, hair products, moisturisers and/or water.
How do I look after my products?
What should I avoid?
Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, hair products, moisturizers and water. We recommend that the last thing you put on before going out is your accessories, to prevent any of these making contact with the product.
How should I remove my earring backs?
Take care when removing the earring back off the earring to prevent the earring back dislodging. Particular care should be taken with polymer clay earrings, trying not to bend or flex the clay as this can cause breakage. Ensure that accessories are removed over a soft surface in case of droppage.
How do I clean my accessories?
Your accessories can be easily cleaned using a clean, soft jewellery polishing cloth.
How should I store my accessories?
Your items should be stored in a cool, dry and clean place. We recommend that accessories are stored safely on an earring board. Additionally, items with tassels are best stored hanging, to ensure that the strands don't go out of shape.

How do I look after by t-shirt?
- Cold, delicate machine wash only with like colours
- Do not use harsh detergents
- Do not bleach or soak
- Do not tumble dry or dry clean
- Do not iron print area
- Line dry inside out
- Wash before wear
We do not recommend our products for use by children under the age of 3 due to risk of strangulation or choking as most of our products include small pieces. Use of items on children should always be under supervision. Girlfetti will not be held responsible for any misuse of our products.
When can I expect my order to be dispatched?
Our current processing time is 1-5 working days from the day following your order placement (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Please note that if your order contains a pre-order or custom item, your whole order will be shipped when the pre-order/custom item is ready to be dispatched. Dispatch times can be found on the product listing of the item. If you wish to purchase additional items to your pre-order/custom item, however don't want to wait until this item is ready to be dispatch, please place two separate orders.
If you require your order by a certain date please contact us prior to placing your order so we can inform you if it is possible or not.
How long will it take for my order to arrive from the date it is dispatched?
All orders within Australia are sent via Australia Post express postage (a complementary upgrade) or Australia Post Standard Tracked International Post for international orders. We have no control over the length of time it takes to arrive to you. Please note that Cairns, QLD is located outside the 'next day guarantee' delivery so parcels will take 2+ days to arrive to their destination via express postage.
Once we have dispatched your order, a tracking number will be emailed to you (this could have filtered into your email 'junk' folder). Your order can be tracked by visiting the Australia Post website.
All international orders shipped from Australia are sent via Australia Post. Your order will be shipped from Australia via Australia Post and once in your country, your local postal service will look after it's delivery.
Do you cover 'lost' parcels?
We have tried our best to reduce the risk of parcels getting 'lost' by ensuring that all of our parcels are signed for on delivery. Girlfetti will not take responsibility for lost parcels once handed to Australia Post. If you are concerned regarding lost parcels, please ensure you add 'extra cover' to your order. 'Extra cover' with Australia Post can be purchased here.
What do I do if my parcel is lost?
If your parcel has been lost during transit please contact Australia Post on 13POST. You will need to provide them with your tracking number and a customer enquiry will be lodged.
Will I need to sign for my parcel?
All orders within Australia will require a signature on delivery. If you do not wish to sign for your parcel please sign up for Australia Post Safe Drop service. We will not remove 'signature on delivery' when a note is left at checkout.
What happens if I place multiple order?
If you have placed multiple orders within a 6 hour period of time we may be able to combine your orders. Please email us the order numbers you wish to combine ASAP. We will be able to refund you the additional postal charges if we have not already processed your order. If order numbers are not emailed within this time frame, the orders will not be combined and you must pay for the additional postage as these will be sent as separate parcels.

Do you provide local pick up?Yes we do! You can now pick up your order from Makin' Whoopee. Please select this option at checkout. Once your order is ready to be collected, an email will be sent to you.
Your privacy is very important to us! Collection of your information is only used for the processing of your order and will not be passed on.
Return Policy For Accessories
We love to get feedback on our products and if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please feel free to email us and we will try to provide you with a solution. We however do not accept refunds or exchanges for 'change of mind' purchases so please choose carefully and read the product descriptions.
Return/Exchange Policy For Clothing
Please read the sizing description and size guide before purchasing as we can only offer an exchange or store credit for incorrect sizing. For an exchange or store credit to be issued, the following must be completed:
- The item must be returned in its original plastic packaging, tags attached and in its original condition
- The item must be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase
- An email must be sent to email@example.com to request a return form. We will then send you a reference number and the return shipping address.
All returns are to be at the customers expense.
Our current processing time is 1-5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
The majority of our domestic parcels are sent through Australia Post Express, however please note that we are not located in an area where 'next day delivery' is available. Parcels sent via express postage are normally delivered in 2+ business days.
Once your order has been shipped, an automated message will be sent to your nominated email address with your orders tracking number.
Please note that Girlfetti will not take responsibility for lost parcels once handed to Australia Post. If you are concerned regarding lost parcels please ensure you add 'extra cover' to your order. 'Extra cover' with Australia Post can be purchased here.
In the situation where a customer purchases a 'pre-order' item, the whole order will be held until the 'pre-order' item is ready to be dispatched. The processing times for pre-orders can be found on the individual pre-order item listing.
'Return to sender' Policy
Occasionally we will have parcels returned to us through Australia Post's 'return to sender' system. A 'return to sender' can occur due to an incorrect customer shipping address or a failure to collect. In the situation where a parcel is 'returned to sender', we are required to pay an additional postal charge to collect it from Australia Post.
In the situation where a parcel is returned to us, an email will be sent to the customer. In the situation where the customer is at fault (e.g. incorrect postal address on order or failure to collect parcel from post office), Girlfetti holds the rights to request an additional shipping fee so we can re-ship your parcel to you. In the situation where the customer refuses to pay additional shipping, Girlfetti holds the rights to cancel the order and the value of the goodies will be refunded (less the shipping cost).
'Misuse of discount codes' Policy
In the situation where a discount code is misused, Girlfetti holds the right to cancel your order. Girlfetti will not take responsibility for 'missing out on products' due to the misuse of this code.
